Music App Design
I designed an app that lets people know what your listening too when your out in public. I've always been fascinated as to what people are listening too in their headphones when I'm bored. This app lets you be super nosey. The map section 'what are you listening 2?' lets you pinpoint your location, and others who have the app, on google maps. If you click on their pin, the song they are listening to and their user name appears. 'Top Tracks' is a page to see what people's favourite tune is in your area (county). The 'Live music' section allows you to see up coming gigs which you might be interested in as the app is linked with Spotify so it can scan over your type of music and make suitable suggestions. 'Slice the silence' is a fun, simple game where music notes shoot out of the speakers and you have to cut them as many times as possible, much like the game fruit ninja.
I had a lot of fun creating this app, I took inspiration from Jamie Reid and the punk era for my aesthetics. I cut up and scanned some of my type to give it an extra punk affect. I wanted to mix cleaner graphic design with rougher analogue work.
