Content creation for society Instagram

As I was the first year on my brand new course, Graphic Design for Digital Media, a few course mates and myself decided to create a new society called Club Creative. It was mainly to gain funding for exhibitions we put on, but we also had a few drawing sessions were anyone could come and create a work of art on certain afternoons. The way we advertise the society is through social media, especially on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Through out the first and second year the social medias were run by everyone, however in my final year of university I decided to take charge of running the Instagram account. I wanted it to look professional and have a strong sense of branding, which is why I have added our logo where nessccary.

I really enjoyed creating content for the Instagram page which was relevant to what we were doing at the time. I also wanted to make it a platform to share all my course mates work and get there own personal art Instagrams out there. I used a template on photoshop to keep the sizings and logo the same when displaying my course mates art. I wanted the account to have a strong theme so it could be easily passed down to the year bellow myself.

Our society Club Creative has hosted three exhibitions in total. This is a short video showing our end of second year exhibition. I used Premier Pro to piece together the footage. I really enjoyed curating and putting together this show as I had to work within a team of students to get it ready in time and taken down.
